Welcome all! It’s that time of year again where I take a brief moment to look at what I have achieved with this blog over the last 12 months and try to elaborate on what I would like to do in the next 12 months. This year I unfortunately had to cut back on the security sleuth due to a lot of different commitments (mainly travel and my side hustle building Apps - good news it’s finally built though 😀).
In an effort to give me more time to work on other stuff I killed off the round up posts which dropped the amount of traffic that comes to this blog by about 50%. While I personally don’t enjoy compiling these posts I want to give this blog every chance possible to continually succeed so I’ll be looking at bringing back these posts in a slick automated form at some stage in 2018.
As for original posts there’s always plenty more to be done. On my wall which I record the pipeline of upcoming posts there’s been a few items sitting there since I came back from Europe (most of them are good, well at least I think so 😉) so they will start appearing more and more as finish them.
I’m not going to focus on dot pointing the subject areas I want to focus on like I have done in previous year end posts chiefly because usually after doing the in depth research on these topics you usually find that there’s not really enough good content to put in a post so I don’t want to get stuck in the mode of doing this and disappointing myself and all of you guys.
The good news for 2018 is that I’ll be shifting back to focus more on this blog next year and I have a couple half finished posts I plan to dust off and finish and rollout soon.
As always, Until next time.
The Security Sleuth.
